It’s that time of the year again. The fragrance of love is wafting through the air, and it smells heaven, is that a hint of heartbreak and disaster I can feel that?
Lots of us feel a bit lonely on Valentine’s Day if we are single because seeing couples out and around serves to highlight our loneliness. For some of us, we see how much attention and affection people are giving one another and we cannot relate. We can’t help but remember the pain and fear our significant other gave us. We start to wonder, for a million time: why me? Let’s hold it there! “A guy becomes twice as attractive when he says he loves Jesus, 5 times more attractive when he’s worshipping God, 10 times more attractive when he knows his Bible, and 100 times more attractive when he’s praying over someone. It’s the truth!”- Beth Kinder If we do not have a relationship like that with Christ, then what we are seeking and giving is a fake love that never satisfies and always leave us wanting.
The emphasis on the fake aspect in Valentine’s Day is very logical and real to be told. On this fake day, people eat, drink, buy chocolates, flowers, Cars, Private Jets and many more, for their love ones. All these gifts ushered are quite good though but at all cost, 80% percent of lovers get divorced. The question is, where is the LOVE?

He further said, during pre-engagement time under the guise of courting, soon to be couples post pictures suggesting that they are already married, the worst action you could also see is that, some go to the extent of touching and doing things that only supposed to be done by married couples.
Ending his statement, he charged all pastors of the church to encourage moderate and decent weddings to minimize cost and urged the church to pull a break on romantic pre-wedding pictures before the sanctity of holy matrimony is broken. Finally, He stressed on the point that, the church shall continue to hold in high esteem chastity in marriage and strongly frown upon pre-marital sexual relationship between prospective couples.

In 2018 survey Ghana was ranked 71 out of 80 countries but on a current survey made in 2019 by joint project by digital news service US News & World Report, marketing company Y&R and the Wharton School, a business school at the University of Pennsylvania. It ranked countries based on perceptions about Adventure, Citizenship, Cultural Influence, Entrepreneurship, Heritage, Movers, Open for Business, Power and Quality of Life. Ghana moved ahead of other African countries including Tunisia (72), Nigeria (74) and Angola (78) but behind Egypt (40) and South Africa (37). Ghana was ranked 69th best country. The country recorded its highest score; 4.2 out of 10 under the metric – ‘Open for Business’ on account of perceived cheap manufacturing costs, a lack of transparency in government practices and a relatively favourable tax environment. It’s lowest score 0.0 was recorded under ‘Entrepreneurship’ as a result of a perceived difficulty in acquiring capital, a poorly educated populace and the lack of a skilled labour force among other factors. The top ten in the 2019 rankings was completed by Switzerland, Japan, Canada, Germany ,United Kingdom, Sweden, Australia,United States, Norway and France. METHODOLOGY ADOPTED FOR THE SURVEY. The study and model used to score and rank countries were developed by BAV Group and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, specifically professor David J. Reibstein, in consultation with U.S. News & World Report. A set of 65 country attributes – terms that can be used to describe a country and that are also relevant to the success of a modern nation – were identified. Attributes by nation were presented in a survey of more than 20,000 people from across the globe. Participants assessed how closely they associated an attribute with a nation. Each country was scored on each of the 65 country attributes based on a collection of individual survey responses. The more a country was perceived to exemplify a certain characteristic in relation to the average, the higher that country’s attribute score and vice versa. These scores were normalized to account for outliers and transformed into a scale that could be compared across the board.
